      The Original Hoodoo Rhythm Devils was formed in San Francisco, California in 1970, and released 4 major label albums during the early to late 1970s. The Hoodoos were an FM radio staple and toured the United States extensively from 1972-1974 with the Doobie Brothers, Savoy Brown, Chuck Berry, Steeley Dan, John Lee Hooker, Moby Grape, Bloodrock, Tower of Power, Mott the Hoople, Elf, John Hammond Jr, Elvin Bishop, The Tubes, Johnny Winter, Asleep at the Wheel, and Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen.
